A Shared Experience

The Adler Arts Center provides various opportunities for musicians to practice and play together in a group setting. Discovering the flows and nuances of the shared music experience is an important part of growing as a musician.

Suzuki Group Class

Instructor: Tava Bever
Students ages 3 & Up
3rd Monday of the Month, 5-5:30pm
Perfect for Suzuki students ages 3 and up who are also enrolled in private Suzuki music lessons, this monthly class helps build confidence, community, and musical skills. Open to all instruments, students perform for each other, practice respectful listening, and learn how to give positive, encouraging feedback.  Each class also includes fun musical games, solfège exercises, and rhythm activities to help develop musicianship in a joyful and supportive environment. 
 
Before enrolling, a student’s adult practice partner must attend a 30-minute Practice Partner Education Session with instructor Tava Bever.

Chamber Music: Instrumental music played by a small ensemble, with one player to a part, the most important form being the string quartet which developed in the 18th century.
